Started off well overpowered in the lagoon. It was too busy and the whole experience was a bit crap with not enough space to get settled. Not too keen to go outside as I was struggling to gain any sort of control and it was super windy. Eventually took the plunge and it was much better with lots of space. Only about a half a dozen people went outside.

Blasted up and down parallel to the shore, making a few long runs up past the oyster beds. Gybes in the monster gusts were difficult but gradually the wind dropped and it became more comfortable. Eventually the lulls meant a certain amount of waiting. Came in around 7 as the tide was dropping.

Super quick drive home as everybody was watching the footie.
